From our dramatic, one of a kind necklaces and pendants to our exquisite one-off statement rings and drop earrings, every bespoke piece is handmade in our California atelier using fine 18K gold, ethically sourced natural diamonds and extraordinary colored gemstones such as opals, sapphires, emeralds and Tahitian pearls.

One of a Kind pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Each is a unique piece; larger diamonds and emeralds featured in One of a Kind designs may carry GIA certificates, and a Suzanne Kalan certificate of authenticity is available with every purchase.
Clean your gemstone jewelry in lukewarm water: let it soak for a few minutes, clean gently in and around the settings with a soft brush, then pat dry with a soft cloth. Remove your jewelry during activities that could scratch or knock the stones, and keep it away from intense heat and harsh chemicals. Professional cleaning and polishing is available; contact us to arrange it.
The stones in our main collections are not individually GIA certified, as certifying every stone would add significant cost to each piece. Larger diamonds and emeralds featured in our one-of-a-kind pieces may carry GIA certificates. A Suzanne Kalan certificate of authenticity, confirming the quality of the diamonds in your piece, is available with every purchase.
Our emeralds are sourced from Zambia and Colombia and selected for their natural beauty. They are never heat treated, preserving each stone's inherent character, and are expertly cut in Thailand.
Our rubies are high-quality, sourced mostly from Mozambique and occasionally from other regions of Africa such as Madagascar, and expertly cut in Thailand.
They are treated with Borax to enhance their natural beauty, a safe and sustainable technique; we never use treatments involving lead.
All of our sapphires are high-quality and 100 percent natural, sourced from regions of South Africa and Asia, and never treated or heated in any way.
Each stone is cut in Thailand with particular care so its natural qualities shine through.
We exclusively use natural diamonds of G color and VS clarity or higher across our 14K and 18K collections.
All Suzanne Kalan diamonds are natural. We do not use lab-grown diamonds in any collection.
Yes. Every Suzanne Kalan necklace is presented in our signature packaging, making it beautiful for gifting or celebrating a meaningful moment.
