Suzanne Kalan’s sapphire jewelry is entirely handcrafted in our California studio using fine 18K yellow, white or rose gold, and high-quality sapphires which are sourced from South Africa and Asia, and are never treated or heated in any way. All our sapphires are precision cut in Thailand.
Our diamonds are also entirely natural and ethically sourced, providing a beautiful accent sparkle for each elegant sapphire jewel. Proudly handmade in the USA since 1988.

Sapphire Jewelry FAQs
All of our sapphires are high-quality and 100 percent natural, sourced from regions of South Africa and Asia, and never treated or heated in any way.
Each stone is cut in Thailand with particular care so its natural qualities shine through.
Clean your gemstone jewelry in lukewarm water: let it soak for a few minutes, clean gently in and around the settings with a soft brush, then pat dry with a soft cloth. Remove your jewelry during activities that could scratch or knock the stones, and keep it away from intense heat and harsh chemicals. Professional cleaning and polishing is available; contact us to arrange it.
Our styling pairs yellow gold with diamonds and emeralds, rose gold with diamonds and rainbow sapphires, and white gold with diamonds and dark blue sapphires. Yellow gold also pairs beautifully with black sapphires or with pastel and light blue sapphires.
Every piece is handcrafted in-house at our California studio, where we have been making fine jewelry since 1988. All Suzanne Kalan jewelry is made in the USA.
