We take pride in crafting each and every piece of jewelry by hand in the United States. Our goal is to ship your order to you as soon as possible. We do have a ready to ship collection for your convenience.

Porcelain Jewelry Trays
Our jewelry trays are in stock and ready to ship.
We accept a variety of payment options, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, as well as wire transfers and ACH payments.
Once your order is processed and ready to be shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking number.
We are unable to change the shipping address once the order has a tracking number.
We believe in delivering the complete package of luxury and excellence to you. This is why all of our orders are elegantly packaged in our signature jewelry boxes. We also include a matching pouch to hold your jewelry for safekeeping.
The packaging also includes a beautiful box which adds an extra layer of sophistication to your gift-giving experience.

Upon request, we would be delighted to include a beautifully handwritten card with a message of your choice.

Certificates of Authenticity

Gia Certificates
We recognize that some customers may be interested in GIA-certified diamonds or gemstones. It's worth noting that GIA certification comes with an additional fee starting at $300 which is why we do not certify every gemstone.
However, we do certify larger diamonds and emeralds featured in our exclusive one-of-a-kind collections. Rest assured, we stand by the quality and authenticity of all the gemstones we use. Should you have any questions or require further information, our dedicated team is always available to assist you.
Beware of counterfeit sites that may use our images to offer products at seemingly discounted prices. We urge our valued customers to always verify the authenticity of a website by comparing it with the list of our official stockists available on our website.

Jewelry Questions
Yes, all of our post back earrings come with either 14K or 18K gold earring backs.
You may also request guardian earring backs at an additional charge.
All our hoop earrings are crafted with an intentionally designed angled post back to ensure it sits comfortably and elegantly on your ear.
The front of the hoop is angled slightly away from your face for a more flattering look, while the back is closer to your neck for a comfortable fit.
As everyone's anatomy is unique, we encourage you to try both orientations to determine which one looks and feels best for you.
Yes, all earrings listed on our website are sold as a set of two.
When the website inventory indicates "Only 1 unit left," it means there is just one pair of earrings remaining.
If you are interested in purchasing a single earring, please contact us.
Also note, any earrings sold as a half pair will be considered as Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
To keep your jewelry shining and looking its best, follow these simple cleaning steps:
1. Fill a bowl with lukewarm water.
2. Place your jewelry in the water and let it soak for a few minutes.
3. Using a soft to medium bristle toothbrush, gently scrub the piece.
4. Rinse the jewelry with fresh water and pat it dry.

Returns
We offer a 5-day return or exchange, with all of our jewelry purchased through our online store, which begins on the date of delivery. Upon receipt and approval of the item, returns will be credited to the original form of payment.
For our U.S. customers, returns or exchanges are complimentary.
For a return or exchange to be approved:
- The tag must remain attached and intact, without any modification or tampering.
- The piece should be returned in its original condition, showing no signs of wear.
- It must also be returned in its original packaging.
For international returns or exchanges, a shipping and handling fee of $190 will apply.
- Shipping costs as well as taxes and duties from the initial purchase will not be returned.

A member of our team will respond to you within 1-2 business days.
Suzanne Kalan reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange if the item appears to be damaged or shows any signs of wear even if the tag is still attached, which is judged at the sole discretion of Suzanne Kalan.
We offer a 7-day return or exchange, with all of our porcelain trays purchased through our online store, which begins on the date of delivery. Upon receipt and approval of the item, returns will be credited to the original form of payment.
For a return or exchange to be approved:
- The tray should be returned in its original condition.
- It must also be returned in its original packaging.
Shipping costs, as well as any applicable duties and taxes, are not covered for both domestic and international returns or exchanges.

Shipping
To ensure the finest experience for our customers in the United States, we offer complementary shipping via FedEx Insured Priority delivery.
- An adult signature is required.
- We do not ship to PO Boxes.

- Any lost packages once tracking indicates they have been signed for and delivered.
- Any delays caused by the recipient being unavailable to sign for the package, technical issues within the shipping carrier, or weather related circumstances.
Hotel Shipping Policy
- We are happy to ship to hotels within the US. However, once the package is delivered and signed by the hotel’s reception, Suzanne Kalan cannot be held liable for any lost packages.
To mitigate fraud:
- We can update your shipping address only once within 10 days after the first address has been entered during checkout.
- We are unable to change the delivery address once the item has been shipped and a tracking number has been issued.
- Anyone who refuses the package will incur shipping charges for both directions.
To ensure a smooth experience for our international customers, we use a third party system to calculate your duties and taxes in your country during checkout, so your order is delivered directly to your door.
- We ship all our orders using FedEx Insured International Priority.
- An adult signature is required.
Canadian Shipping Policy
- Due to recent tax regulations, Canadian residents will be responsible for paying taxes and duties upon receiving their order when it reaches Canadian customs. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The art of resizing jewelry is one that demands precision, a skill we are well-versed in. However, it's crucial to understand that not all of our fine jewelry is able to be resized due to their intricate designs.
Additionally, we recommend minimizing the number of resizing operations for any given piece to ensure its enduring quality.
Eternity bands cannot be resized.

Our jewelry is crafted with only the finest 14-karat or 18-karat gold for its clasps. As gold is a soft metal, it will gradually show signs of wear over time. If you notice any wear or damage, we recommend a clasp replacement.

Each service request is handled with the utmost care and consideration for the unique circumstances.
In many cases, we are able to service your piece at no cost to you, which may include replacing a damaged gemstone, cleaning and polishing to restore its original luster.
The only cost you will be responsible for is the shipping fee to send the item to us and for its return back to you.

To clean your diamond or gemstone jewelry, use lukewarm water.
- Let it soak in the water for a few minutes.
- Use a soft brush and clean in and around the settings.
- Then pat it dry with a soft cloth.
Gold and platinum are considered precious metals and can easily be scratched. Try to avoid your jewelry from rubbing against hard surfaces and other pieces of jewelry.

Pearls
We use natural pearls in our jewelry which makes them sensitive to chemical substances. In order to keep your pearls looking their best, try to avoid putting them in contact with cosmetics, such as creams and perfumes.
To clean your pearl jewelry use a damp soft cloth.
Opals
Opals are particularly sensitive to thermal shock, dry heat, and contact with chemical products. These may risk dehydrating the opal causing it to lose its iridescence. Over time, an opal may vary in weight to due water loss, this is a naturally occurring phenomenon.
To clean your opal jewelry use a soft cloth to wipe it down.
Sizing Guide
Step 1: First, gather either a tape measure, a piece of string, or a strip of paper—anything that can easily wrap around your wrist.
Step 2: Next, gently wrap your chosen material around the wrist where you plan to wear the bracelet. If you're planning to stack multiple bracelets, take measurements at the specific spots where each bracelet will sit. Mark the point where the two ends meet.
Step 3: Finally, place the string or paper strip on a flat surface and use a ruler to measure its length up to the marked point.

We are also proud to offer AAA quality rubies in our collections. Most of our rubies are sourced from Mozambique, and on occasion, from other regions of Africa like Madagascar.
